Pets
Command reference: This page documents the in-game pets command.
PET SYSTEM
In this world, many classes have the ability to summon, charm, or otherwise command pets. Each class brings a different type of pet to the battlefield, and thanks to multiclassing, you can have more than one pet at a time.
Classes that may have pets include:
- Enchanter: Can charm NPCs to fight alongside you, or summon a reactive animation.
- Necromancer: Summons undead minions to serve in battle.
- Magician: Conjures elemental pets that specialize in different roles.
- Beastlord: Summons a powerful warder tied to their primal spirit.
- Shaman: Can call forth a spiritual companion to aid them.
- Druid: May summon animal companions or nature spirits.
- Bard: Can charm enemies with songs (temporary pet).
- Shadow Knight: Summons a dark servant from beyond.
Because your character may multiclass (up to three classes), you may control **up to three pets simultaneously**, one from each class. For example:
A character with Enchanter, Necromancer, and Magician classes might have:
- A charmed or summoned *enchanter pet*
- An *undead necromancer minion*
- A *magician elemental servant*
Each pet is tracked separately, and you can control them independently using the pets command.
ENCHANTER ANIMATIONS:
Summoned animations are an intentional exception to normal pet commands. They
cannot be ordered to attack, taunt, or hold because Animation Empathy is not
currently available. An animation automatically attacks an enemy after that
enemy directly attacks the enchanter or the animation. It will not initiate a
fight merely because the enchanter has selected or attacked a target.

to the highest level pet. If that highest level pet dies, your next highest
pet will be the new highest pet, etc.
EXAMPLES:
pets all attack
- All your pets attack your current target.
pets bst taunt on
- Your beastlord pet will begin taunting and taking aggro.
pets mag hold on
- Your magician pet will stop attacking automatically.
pets nec taunt off
- Turns off taunting for your necromancer pet.

- Shows a summary of your pet health statuses.
pets enc leave
- Releases your enchanter pet (charm breaks or animation disappears).
pets mag name Bruno
- Sets your preferred Magician pet name to Bruno.
Summoned Magician pets will appear as: A fire elemental named Bruno
You can also check your pets score with the score command, while you are in the same room. Example: score <petname>.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PET ID SHORTCUTS:
Your own pets now support owner-only ID aliases in the format:
<class-short>_pet
Examples:
mag_pet - Your Magician pet
nec_pet - Your Necromancer pet
enc_pet - Your Enchanter pet
bst_pet - Your Beastlord pet
shm_pet - Your Shaman pet
dru_pet - Your Druid pet
brd_pet - Your Bard charmed pet
shd_pet - Your Shadow Knight pet
These aliases only match for the pet's owner, so they are safe to use even in busy rooms with many pets.
Example usage:
score mag_pet
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PET SCALING AND SHARED STATS:
Your pets benefit from YOUR stats! Pets inherit a percentage of your character's power, making them stronger as you grow stronger. This means that gear, buffs, and rebirth bonuses that improve your stats also improve your pet's effectiveness.
SHARED OFFENSIVE STATS:
Pets gain a portion of your:
- Spell Damage: Your pet's spells hit harder
- Spell Critical Chance: Your pet's spells can crit more often
- Spell Critical Damage: Your pet's crits hit even harder
- DoT Critical Chance: Your pet's damage over time spells can crit
- DoT Critical Damage: Your pet's DoT crits do more damage
- Bonus proc rates from rebirths: Your pets get this too!
SHARED HEALING STATS:
Pets with healing abilities gain a portion of your:
- Heal Amount: Your pet's heals are more powerful
- Critical Heal Chance: Your pet's heals can crit
- Critical HoT Chance: Your pet's heal over time spells can crit
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:
- Better gear = Better pets
- Buffs that increase your spell damage also increase your pet's damage
- Your rebirth bonuses enhance your pet's performance
- The more you invest in your character, the stronger your pets become
NOTE ABOUT SCALING:
Pets typically receive a scaled percentage of your stats (not 100%), so they
benefit from your power without becoming overpowered. The exact percentage
varies by pet type and level.
Swarm pets (temporary summoned pets) do NOT benefit from shared stats to
prevent abuse of short-duration mass summons.
STRATEGY TIP:
If you're a pet class, investing in spell damage, crit chance, and other
offensive stats benefits both YOU and YOUR PET, effectively doubling the
value of those stats!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: You can also issue pet commands via macros or aliases for quicker control in combat. Some pets may not support all options (e.g., charmed pets may not cast spells).
Use your companions wisely—different pet types have different strengths and weaknesses!
