Boats

BOATS -----

Boats travel automatically between docks and across zone lines.

When a boat arrives, use:

  board

If more than one boat is present, name the vessel. For example:

  board pirate runners skiff

You remain with the boat until you use either of these commands:

  disembark
  unboard

Looking at a boat shows its next zone when one is scheduled. Boats pause at docks before departing. Interzone boat docks are automatic run landmarks. Use the destination zone's short name, such as: run boat to timorous

PIRATE RUNNERS SKIFF --------------------

Ocean of Tears to Butcherblock Mountains:

  The skiff leaves Zach Isle in the Ocean of Tears and arrives at the
  Butcherblock dock near location 3190, 840.
  In the Ocean of Tears, use: run boat to butcher

Butcherblock Mountains to the Ocean of Tears:

  The skiff leaves the Butcherblock dock near location 3190, 840 and returns
  to Zach Isle.
  In Butcherblock, use: run boat to oot

Butcherblock Mountains to Timorous Deep:

  The skiff leaves the Butcherblock dock near location 3120, 1060 and arrives
  at the southeastern docks in Timorous Deep.
  In Butcherblock, use: run boat to timorous

Timorous Deep to Butcherblock Mountains:

  The skiff leaves the southeastern docks and returns to the Butcherblock dock.
  In Timorous Deep, use: run boat to butcher

BARREL BARGE ------------

Oasis of Marr to Timorous Deep:

  The Oasis Barrel Barge leaves the Oasis dock near location negative 850,
  890 and arrives at Ogre Island in Timorous Deep.
  In Oasis, use: run boat to timorous
  To board, use: board oasis barge

Timorous Deep to the Overthere:

  The Overthere Barrel Barge leaves Ogre Island and arrives at the Overthere
  dock.
  In Timorous Deep, use: run boat to overthere
  To board, use: board overthere barge

The Overthere to Timorous Deep:

  The barge leaves the Overthere dock near location 3195, 3030 and returns to
  Ogre Island.
  In the Overthere, use: run boat to timorous

The Oasis Barrel Barge returns from the Ogre Island dock in Timorous Deep to Oasis. Remain aboard for the return trip, or board it near location 3180, 5415. In Timorous Deep, use: run boat to oasis

OCEAN OF TEARS ISLAND BOAT --------------------------

The local island boat makes a repeating circuit within the Ocean of Tears. It stops at Zach Isle, Siren Rocks, Avian Isle, Twin Tines, A Isle, and Grey Isle.

Use 'run' with one of those landmark names to reach the desired stop. Because the route repeats, remain aboard until the boat reaches the island you want.

TRAVEL TIPS -----------

Board only while the vessel is in your room. Do not disembark while it is travelling over open water. If you leave a boat manually, it will continue its route without you. Touch Void Stones at distant destinations so future trips can be made through the Void Rift.
