Command reference: This page documents the in-game look command.

Look

Use look to view the room, inspect creatures, or inspect items.

Syntax:

 look
 look at <target>
 look in <target>
 look at <item> in <container>
 look at <item> from <container>

Examples:

 look
 look at guard
 look at rusty dagger
 look at ruby in backpack
 look at ring from satchel

Notes:

• Containers can be bags you are carrying or containers in the room.
• You can use in or from when looking at an item inside a container.
• Number suffixes work for repeated names, such as look at ring 2 in bag.
