Getting Started as an Iksar

Iksar begin in Cabilis, either in cabeast or cabwest. Cabilis is your home city on Kunark, and the Field of Bone is your first newbie hunting zone.

Use running as your navigation tool:

  1. Type 'run' in Cabilis to see the available routes.
  2. Use the listed route to reach the Field of Bone.
  3. Once you are in the Field of Bone, type 'run' again.
  4. Use 'run newbie area' to reach the first hunting area.

Once you reach the newbie area, start with weak enemies and fight one at a time. Use 'look' to inspect targets before engaging, then use 'target' and 'attack', or your starting spells, to begin combat. Loot corpses with 'loot' and return to Cabilis when you need to sell, rest, or regroup.

Running is the recommended normal travel method. If you get turned around, type 'run' again in your current zone and follow the landmarks from there.
